Centurion Poultry, Inc. (CPI) was founded in 1991 and moved in 1998 to its current "State of the Art" 750 acre complex in Lexington, Georgia.

This main operation is located in a very isolated area with maximum bio-security, ensuring the highest health standards for our products.

Centurion Poultry Inc. operates two divisions:

1. Egg type replacement chicks production division. This part of the business distributes, under license with Hendrix Genetics, the renowned Bovans and Dekalb brands of egg layers.
2. Meat type primary breeding division. In 2008 Centurion acquired all assets and intellectual property of PureLine Genetics, a primary breeder of meat type birds. This division with its main place of operation in Preston, Connecticut, produces different types of meat type chickens for large commercial operations as well as free range farmers.

Birds eye view of how we operate:

Before we deliver the chicks to our customers, the fertile eggs are hatched in one of our hatcheries. To avoid long transit time for the baby-chicks, CPI operates chick hatcheries strategically located in the USA to ensure all our chicks can be delivered to the customers' farms within 24 hours of hatching. For our overseas clients we are conveniently located near the world's largest airport of Atlanta, Georgia, ensuring fast delivery to the final destination of the chicks.

CPI uses its own fleet of specially designed chick transportation trailers to deliver the baby-chicks to their customers. The trailers are acclimatized and designed to hold comfortably well over 100,000 baby-chicks at very constant temperatures and regulated supply of fresh air.
